Volunteer Opportunities
Opportunities for teenagers through seniors looking for fun, unique
and interesting volunteer positions. Whether you have a few days, a few
weeks, or are looking for a one-time volunteer commitment, the Museum of
Visual Materials (MoVM) Volunteer Program is very fulfilling and may have
the position for you!
The MoVM is very open to new and
exciting opportunities for the Sioux Empire. We encourage individuals not
just to learn at the MoVM, but to teach their hobbies as a volunteer. The
facility can teach classes in cooking, sewing, crafts, woodwork, music or
any exciting hobbies that you would like to encourage others to become a part
of! Some volunteer positions interact with the Museum guests while others
may work behind-the-scenes.
Volunteer commitment has allowed our Museum to improve visitor experiences
by expanding programs, generating community involvement and support, and
assisting Museum staff in daily operations.

What do we need volunteers for right now?
1. We are currently building our Haunted House in the basement and am looking for help for construction. Anyone who is handy or that would like to get involved with our project can contact Jeremy or Todd at 605-271-9500.
2. Individuals that want to help with our
Brew Falls Beer Tasting on October 15th, Thursday Night. Event starts at 7:00 and runs until 10:00. We would need volunteers at 6:30 to discuss the event and go over the rules. We prefer 21 and over but will be able to find spots for others. Call Jeremy at 605-271-9500.

Haunted House and Halloween Party people. If you like to scare people or if you like to have fun with kids and and party, we have a great opportunity for you. Our Haunted House runs October 29th - 31st. Times are different each day but we are looking for anyone any days. Please call Jeremy at 605-271-9500.
